Celebration Post: Tea Party Madness

To celebrate Fashion Lab Ratz almost ONE and me almost TWENTY X o_O. I decided to do a celebration photoshoot involving some of my favourite things: fashion, food, colourful things, tea party….etc. So I asked Marie Anne and Rhiannon to join my krazyness and be my lab rats! Any excuse for high tea, dress up and photos ;)!!

Make up! Touch up! Before start up
Stylist Raelene with her bags.
Behind the glamorous photos there’s stress and sweat. It was a hot Friday today in Brisbane. With make up and hair done we (including few others) had to catch a bus to the photo shoot venue due to occurrence of some confusion.  So we waited and waited, then we uncovered that the bus we planned to catch had broken down. As a end result we had to take the bus that drops us off ~15mins away from the venue.
Of course to entertain ourselves – Photo Time!  The very thin coat is for protecting the beads from rubbing off when I’m my big bag. Yes it was very sticky and hot with it on but must say it somehow went well with the dress in a more dress down sense.
Not very happy me
 Again backward story telling ^.^

Tchaikovsky’s White Swan Inspired: Swan Dress Just A Bit

Labels: White cut-out dress with puffy sleeves and bottom / London Rebel nude heels / Asos crystal ear cuff

Photographed by Raelene B

Last of the FOUR looks – Tchaikovsky’s White Swan Inspired: Swan Dress Just A Bit. White dress and big puffy sleeves as well as the feather like ear cuff brings in some elements and feel of Tchaikovsky’s white swan with a modern spin.

Mythical Vampire Inspired: Soirée Noir

Third look of the FOUR – Mythical Vampire Inspired Soirée Noir. This was emphasised with the classic and elegant long black (noir) evening dress and dark purple rouge lipstick (Estée Lauder, Black Classis MATTE 04). Lastly, Soirée Noir was nicely complemented by the red carpet and marble stairs to complete the vision.

With outdoor shoot stripping away the red carpet and marble stairs, the beautiful purple colours of falling jacaranda had provided a similar vibe but toning down the strong dark look.

Spain Inspired: Spain Vibe

Labels: Forever New maxi dress / Betts black heels / Asos gold crystal ear cuff / Multicolour peacock earring and gold necklace from Hong Kong
Make up & photographed by Raelene B; Dress Kindly Sponsored By Katrina K
The second look of the FOUR – Spain inspired Spain Vibe. In attempt to bring forth the Spain element and create the sensation, a dress with beautiful red colours complemented by other colours made up in different shapes was chosen. In addition, to give this sensation a boost was the choice of venue.
So what do we think?

1980’s Inspired: Silver Glam

Labels: Rush slim fit purple evening gown / Asos silver oversize earrings / Silver flower necklace from Hong Kong / Betts open toe high heels
Make Up & Photographed By: Raelene B; Dress Kindly Sponsored By: Mel D
The first evening look of the FOUR, was inspired by The Gatsby Glam around the 1980’s. In attempt to encompass the glamorous, elegant, vintage and classic old fashion party style. The venue had also greatly assisted in carrying that olden day look. Hope you all love it as much as I do 😉
